Bon Dia
A botanical tea brand rooted in Catalan traditions.

Bon Dia — meaning “good day” — is a greeting, a ritual, a pause. This guided every aspect of the brand. Inspired by Catalan herbal traditions, it celebrates simple, natural blends sourced from the Mediterranean landscapes of Catalonia, where plants have long been gathered, brewed, and shared.

The visual identity and packaging focus on warmth, simplicity, and mindfulness. Using simple geometric representations of the ingredients — the leaves, flowers, and botanicals — these minimal forms then developed into repeated patterns, which naturally evolved into tile-like compositions. This connection felt instinctive: the structured repetition referenced traditional Spanish tiles, tying back to Catalonia while subtly evoking the familiarity of a kitchen space or countertop. The perfectly cubical boxes continue this 4x4 square logic, reinforcing cohesion across the brand. The overall aim was to create something approachable and comforting — a design that feels at home in kitchens anywhere in the world, wherever someone is preparing their Bon Dia tea.

Typography continues this quadrilateral, tile-inspired structure, reflecting the geometric logic of the motifs and packaging. This creates harmony across all brand elements, reinforcing the sense of cohesion and thoughtful design. The boxes themselves are made from recycled materials with a matte finish, supporting an eco-conscious approach that aligns with the brand’s focus on natural, simple ingredients from the earth.
